Juiette Payne

Juiette is a musician and music instructor from Maywood, IL. He is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and recording artist. Juiette began singing in the youth choir at the age of 12 and started playing the drums when the movie Drumline came out in 2002. Today, Juiette plays and teaches drums, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, and vocals.


Upon graduation from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Juiette developed a passion to teach up-and-coming artists. He started instructing at a music school in Oak Park before founding his own music education school in 2013 - Starving Artists Studios. Starving Artists Studios was a non-profit afterschool program dedicated to training young artists and musicians in the Maywood community. In 2019, Juiette  revamped his afterschool program into an online music education resource named Starving Artists Courses. Now, Juiette and his team are able to reach aspiring musicians worldwide through online courses, lessons, and memberships! You can find Juiette’s original music on all digital platforms under the name, Juiette Z. Payne Music.
