Kit Tupas

Instructor: Piano

Kit is a musician and teacher from Tinley Park. He has been playing the piano for fifteen years alongside a few other instruments including guitar, trombone, and voice. Kit started playing music for his family and friends when he was 13 years old, playing in a pop punk/rock cover band. Since then, he has been in a handful of rock, psych, jazz, and indie projects. Throughout middle school and high school he also enjoyed being in the marching, concert, and jazz bands, as well as various choirs.

Kit has enjoyed playing at many local Chicagoland venues such as The Quarry, Q Bar, and The Forge. He currently is the keyboard player and rhythm guitarist for the indie band Johnny Personne, and he performs by himself as a small side project as a looping artist (think Ed Sheeran). Kit is currently attending Moraine Valley Community College and aims to major in Music Education.
