Lara Bell
Instructor: Guitar, Piano and Ukulele

Lara is an independent rising singer/songwriter and music instructor from the northern Illinois area. Born and raised with country roots, Lara has performed numerous live shows between Chicagoland and Southern WI at various known venues since she was 16 years old.
Miss Bell has graced the stage at The Rochaus, Uncommon Ground Chicago, The Elbo Room, and her most favorite, the streets of Galway, Ireland.
Lara started training with many studios and instructors in the performing arts at just 5 years old. Since then, she has become an accomplished musician of classical piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele, a professional musical theatre actress/EMC Cardholder in Chicagoland, as well as a performer with her own country music band. One of Lara’s earliest memories is seeing her first professional show and thinking: ‘I want to be up on that stage one day”. Lara loves performing and sharing her love for music to crowds of any ages, and especially
teaching to the younger generations. Since 2017, Lara has been privately teaching students through her home, all from ages 5 to 16. She has been a teacher since early high school, and has taught many classes consisting of dance (ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip hop) and musical theatre/cabaret workshops at studios all over Northern IL and Southern WI.
FUN FACTS:
Lara loves cats more than anything and once had 6 at one time growing up.
Her favorite songs to sing are from Grease/do-wop music and wishes she could perform at a sock hop in the 50s, or at least perform with a modern do-wop band!
If she had to listen to one CD for the rest of her life it would be ABBA Gold.
Lara’s favorite bands come from the 50s-80s. She can’t pick just one! But a lot of that music inspires her own.
